Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified social worker to become part of a dedicated Mental Health Team in the Greater Manchester region. Applicants must be registered with Social Work England and possess the right to work in the UK, along with relevant UK experience.
Team Dynamics
This team operates within a multidisciplinary framework, aiming to deliver tailored support to individuals facing mental health challenges and their families.
Key Responsibilities
The role includes:
- Conducting thorough assessments and Section 117 reviews.
- Executing safeguarding procedures in accordance with the Care Act 2014.
- Collaborating with service users to create personalized care plans.
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will possess post-qualifying experience in the mental health sector. Experience in hospital settings or front-door services is advantageous. A degree in Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) is required, along with registration with Social Work England.
