About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Lending Associate to join our team at Weatherbys Banking Group. As a key member of our Central Administration Specialist Team (CAST), you will play a vital role in providing accurate administration support to our Private Banking Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handling Daily Queries: Respond to and resolve queries raised by the Private Banking Team in a timely and professional manner.
  • Drafting Lending Documentation: Prepare and draft all lending and security documentation with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Core Banking Tasks: Perform core banking tasks such as drafting Audit and Redemption Letters, completing Mortgage Statements, and producing reference statements.
  • Arrears Management: Monitor the arrears database and prepare arrears letters as required.
  • Lending System Management: Load lending into the Flexcube Banking system, making amendments as necessary.
  • Insurance Policy Management: Monitor and oversee expired Buildings Insurance Policies and request up-to-date policies from the Private Banking Team.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within UK banking or relevant qualifications such as A levels or a degree in a related subject.
  • Training: Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and written communication skills.
  • Lending Knowledge: Good knowledge of lending principles and practices.
