Job Opportunity

Brio Digital is seeking a highly skilled Principal Database Engineer to join our team.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining PostgreSQL databases to ensure data integrity, performance, and security.

Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing database performance through indexing, query tuning, and capacity planning.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support database-related needs and initiatives.

Additionally, you will perform regular database backups, recovery procedures, and disaster recovery planning.

Your role will also involve monitoring database performance and troubleshooting issues to ensure maximum uptime and responsiveness.

You will evaluate and implement new database technologies and features to enhance data infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Principal Database Engineer.
  • Strong understanding of database design, optimization, and maintenance.
  • Proficient in writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
  • Experience with performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization.
  • Knowledge of database security best practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
