At Excelcare, a family-owned care home group with over 34 years of experience, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional care to older individuals with diverse needs, including dementia, physical disabilities, and mental health challenges. By becoming part of our organization, you will be welcomed into our family, and in return for your hard work and dedication, you can expect:
- Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications
- Full-time position of 40 hours per week (excluding unpaid breaks)
- Work schedule of 5 shifts per week from 9am to 5pm, including alternate weekends
Key Responsibilities:
- As the Lifestyle Activities Coordinator, you will design and implement meaningful and engaging activities that enhance the lives of residents.
- Collaborate with team members, family members, and residents to identify activities and lifestyle enhancements that cater to individual and group needs.
- Develop partnerships with local organizations, schools, and community groups to broaden activity offerings.
- Plan outings and events, requiring familiarity with local attractions and external resources.
- Empower residents by providing choices that foster a vibrant and social atmosphere, ensuring their personal goals are met.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role or a caring environment is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to creating positive change.
- A confident demeanor with a positive, can-do attitude.
- A genuine passion for improving the lives of older adults.
- Excellent communication and writing abilities.
