As a Surgical Services Practitioner, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care within the operating theatre environment.

Salary

£34,130 to £43,730 per annum, complemented by an attractive benefits package.

Incentives

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional healthcare by:

  • Assisting surgical teams during various procedures, including local, regional, sedation, and general anaesthesia.
  • Preparing and positioning patients as directed, ensuring proper handling of specimens for laboratory analysis.
  • Facilitating patient readiness for clinical and surgical interventions, along with providing immediate post-operative care.
  • Overseeing the clinical area in the absence of senior practitioners, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients and staff.
  • Collaborating effectively with team members across the theatre suite, sharing knowledge and supporting one another to achieve collective goals.
  • Maintaining high standards of infection control by adhering to departmental policies regarding cleanliness, decontamination, and aseptic techniques.

Qualifications and Experience
