Surgical Care Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical Care Practitioner to join our team at London Bridge Hospital. As a key member of our theatre team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of our operating theatres.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in a variety of surgical specialties. You will work closely with our experienced theatre team to provide exceptional patient care and support, and will be responsible for leading a team of anaesthetic practitioners.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care and support in the operating theatre
- Lead a team of anaesthetic practitioners and contribute to the smooth operation of the theatre
- Develop and maintain your skills and expertise in a variety of surgical specialties
- Work closely with the theatre team to provide exceptional patient care and support
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
Qualified Surgical Care Practitioner (SCP) experience in robotics (Da Vinci) is essentialRegistration as a healthcare professional (e.g. nurse or ODP) with a related honours degreeRecent experience in theatre nursing18 months working within a similar autonomous role is desirableAptitude for clinical and operative practiceAbility to effectively manage the clinical area on a day-to-day basis and plan aheadWhat We OfferWe offer a competitive salary, shift allowance, and golden hello (T&Cs apply).
