Sous Chef Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at HR-CL Limited. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a critical role in supporting our Head Chef and leading kitchen operations to deliver exceptional culinary experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management
  • Lead a team of chefs to achieve culinary excellence and high standards of food quality
  • Develop and implement kitchen procedures to ensure efficient and safe food preparation
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and supplies

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-end dining establishment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Ability to drive and have access to a vehicle

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary of £35,000 - £38,000 per year, depending on experience
  • Tips (extra £2,000 - £3,000 per year on top of your salary)
  • Flexible working hours, with the option to work 4 or 5 days per week
  • Contract of 45 hours per week
  • Relaxed kitchen environment with approximately 60 covers
