We are seeking a skilled Trust Manager to join our Private Wealth team at Womble Bond Dickinson. As a Trust Manager, you will play a crucial role in preparing trust accounts and personal/trust returns for review, as well as undertaking peer reviews.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare trust accounts and personal/trust returns for review, ensuring engagement letters are in place and fees are agreed and billed accordingly.
- Undertake peer reviews and assist other members of the trust and tax team in the overall management of client affairs.
- Assist the wider team with charities and small business accounts and related compliance.
About the Team
Our Private Wealth team is a collaboration of lawyers, accountants, financial advisers, and tax specialists. Their expertise is highly regarded, ensuring that our clients' wealth is protected, now and for future generations.
Requirements
- Experience of trust accounts preparation, preferably from within accountancy practice rather than industry.
- Knowledge of a range of accounts formats, processes, and procedures, working both manually and with relevant systems (especially CCH Trust Accounts).
- Experience of presenting information in spreadsheet format (Excel) and in written report form (Word).
