Position Overview

This role is a temporary assignment aimed at fulfilling the operational requirements of the service.

Candidates interested in this temporary role must secure approval from their current supervisor before proceeding with their application.

Proficiency in Welsh is preferred for this position; applications are welcome from both English and Welsh speakers.

Key Responsibilities

The individual in this role is expected to operate independently, utilizing their initiative to address challenges and support all Quality Assurance initiatives related to Research and Development. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role within the team and will be accountable for the following:

  • Ensuring the provision of a high-quality, safe, efficient, and cost-effective service to the organization.
  • Serving as the Quality Assurance Manager for Research and Development, coordinating the establishment of a quality management framework and ensuring the effective operation of the Quality Management System.
  • Overseeing quality and financial matters pertinent to Research and Development across the organization.
  • Collaborating with the Technical team at Q-Pulse and IT to guarantee the continuous improvement and functionality of the quality management system.
  • Managing the Research and Development Governance personnel.
  • Promoting collaborative practices and standardization across various disciplines within the Research and Development teams.
  • Contributing significantly to evaluations and the formulation of strategic plans for the Directorate concerning Quality, Governance, and Health & Safety.
  • Developing and maintaining the Risk Register for Research and Development and Research Delivery.
