Quality Assurance Manager

Compensation:
£45,000 - £50,000 plus performance-related bonus

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, and Friday from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Quality Assurance Manager to join a leading engineering firm.


The Quality Assurance Manager will oversee all facets of the Quality department, ensuring that processes and materials meet compliance standards, maintaining the Quality Management Systems, and providing Customer Support as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure that the Quality and Inspection functions align with business objectives.
2. Lead the Quality department to achieve site goals efficiently, including Inspection, Laboratory, and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) operations.
3. Guarantee that documentation adheres to both internal and external quality standards, including NADCAP and AS9100.
4. Manage Quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and objectives, developing strategies for Continuous Improvement.
5. Conduct annual performance reviews and identify training needs, creating and implementing development plans that align with site strategy.
6. Support Laboratory and Inspection teams.
7. Initiate and participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
8. Possess knowledge of quality assurance concepts, methodologies, and tools.
9. Understand quality systems and measurement techniques.
10. Effectively present data and findings.
