In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting individuals with mental health challenges to achieve their goals and improve their well-being. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based interventions and promote recovery.
Your Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing a range of occupational therapy techniques.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Advocate for patients' rights and support their involvement in decision-making processes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to the ongoing development of services.
We are looking for a highly motivated Occupational Therapist with:
- A Diploma/degree/MSc in Occupational Therapy and HCPC Registration (or waiting if newly qualified).
- Proven experience working with adults experiencing mental health challenges.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- A commitment to continuous professional development.
