About the Role

CVX Ventures is seeking an exceptional Chief Investment Officer to join our global investment team in London or Copenhagen. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a continuous and high-quality deal flow, analyzing companies, markets, and industries to make informed investment decisions, and negotiating term sheets to secure the best investment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deal Sourcing and Analysis: Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities, conducting thorough research and analysis to ensure alignment with CVX Ventures' investment strategy.
  • Investment Decision-Making: Collaborate with the investment committee to make informed investment decisions, considering factors such as market trends, company performance, and growth potential.
  • Portfolio Management: Oversee the entire deal journey, from sourcing and due diligence to closing investment rounds, ensuring timely and successful execution.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with portfolio companies, investors, and other stakeholders to drive growth and value creation.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in venture capital, entrepreneurship, consulting, banking, or a related field.
  • Education: Bachelor or master's degree with excellent results.
  • Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, passion for analyzing and investing in companies, and ability to sell CVX Ventures' value proposition.
  • Personal Qualities: High work ethic, sense of urgency, unusual drive, and desire to be the best at what you do.
