Construction Project Coordinator

Location: Onsite.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Coordinator to join our team at ComXps. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in planning, managing, and monitoring construction work, with a strong understanding of construction environment, safety and health regulations and legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage construction projects from planning to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, in collaboration with stakeholders and team members.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies, including CDM - Construction Design and Management Regulations.
- Manage and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation, including risk registers and site management plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including site managers, engineers, and contractors, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks, and develop strategies to minimize their impact on projects.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members, ensuring effective communication and project delivery.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in construction project management, with a strong understanding of construction environment, safety and health regulations and legislation.
- Hold an industry standard, construction/build environment qualification (e.g.: NVQ Level 6, ONC, HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent), aligned to their discipline/specialism.
- Demonstrate exceptional awareness and understanding of construction environment, safety and health regulations and legislation.
- Hold a Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS), or National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) Construction accreditation, or a suitable equivalent.
- Hold an appropriate industry recognised safety scheme card (i.e.: a Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Manager's card, Client Contractor National Safety Group (CCNSG) Safety Passport card or a suitable equivalent).
- Experience in constructions – building rather than civil would be preferable.
- Knowledge of asbestos regulations.
- Experience with risk registers.
