Job Title: Apprentice Construction Manager

Clearance: DV/SC

Contract Length: 18 months

Location: Onsite.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Apprentice Construction Manager to join our team at ComXps. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in planning, managing, and monitoring construction work, with a strong understanding of construction environment, safety and health regulations and legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and coordinate construction projects from planning to completion.
  2. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
  3. Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential hazards.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and objectives.
  5. Monitor and report on project progress, identifying areas for improvement.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory changes.

Requirements:

  1. Relevant industry standard qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 6, ONC, HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent).
  2. Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) or National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) Construction accreditation.
  3. Industry recognised safety scheme card (e.g., Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Manager's card, Client Contractor National Safety Group (CCNSG) Safety Passport card).
  4. Experience in construction, with a preference for building rather than civil.
  5. Knowledge of asbestos regulations and experience with risk registers.
  6. Understanding of CDM - Construction Design and Management Regulations.
