The Combined Assessment Unit at Belford Hospital in Fort William offers a dynamic and challenging work environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development. As a member of our team, you will be part of a collaborative and supportive environment, working closely with colleagues to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality patient care in the Combined Assessment Unit, utilizing your expertise in acute care and assessment skills.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and guidelines.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of respect, dignity, and compassion.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in acute care, with a strong focus on assessment and patient care.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development, with a desire to stay current with the latest clinical practices and guidelines.

NHS Scotland is committed to reducing working hours, with a new 37-hour working week. This change will be implemented pro rata for part-time staff. You may be required to work additional hours temporarily, but this will be compensated accordingly.
