Clinical Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Supervisor to join our team at NHS 24. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will play a key role in providing clinical supervision to non-clinical staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical supervision to non-clinical staff, using a variety of different models to deliver effective support and guidance.
- Act as an autonomous practitioner, providing comprehensive telephone triage and clinical assessment services to patients and/or their carers/relatives.
- Provide real-time clinical support to NHS 24 frontline staff, ensuring safe, appropriate, and person-centred outcomes.
- Facilitate the provision of accurate healthcare information, self-care/health improvement advice, or referral to the appropriate level and location of care, as needed.
- Registered as an Adult nurse on Part 1 of the NMC register.
- Excellent clinical decision-making skills, with the ability to provide continuous clinical supervision and leadership.
- Extensive post-registration experience, preferably within an acute or primary care setting, with a broad range of knowledge across a number of specialties.
- Critical decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
NHS 24 offers a competitive salary package, with a permanent contract on Band 6 £39,912 - £48,635 (pro rata for part-time hours). We also offer a range of benefits, including:

We are committed to providing a flexible and supportive working environment. As a Hybrid Clinical Supervisor, you will be expected to work a combination of office-based and home-based hours, with the opportunity to work up to 50% of your contracted hours from home.
We require you to have a mobile, internet connection, and minimum broadband speed of 4 Mbps. You will also need to ensure that you have a private space available for home working, where you can maintain patient confidentiality and avoid distractions.
