Environmental Compliance Specialist

Job Summary:
APCOA PARKING (UK) LTD is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Enforcement Officer to join our team. As an Environmental Enforcement Officer, you will play a crucial role in enforcing local laws and regulations to protect the environment and public health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine reports of environmental breaches, including littering, fly tipping, and dog fouling, and prepare cases for trial.
- Patrol designated areas to enforce environmental orders and provide advice to residents and members of the public.
- Collaborate with legal services to present cases in court and serve as a witness when necessary.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of green services, including cleansing and waste collection.
- Respond to complaints and resolve complex issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements:
- Full clean driving licence.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
What We Offer:
- Competitive hourly rate of £13.
- 40 hours per week, working any 5 from 7 days, including weekends and bank holidays.
