**About the Role**
Award-winning food manufacturer seeks a Quality Assurance Supervisor to join their team at their London facility. As a key member of the quality assurance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and quality of their products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the quality assurance team to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, legislation, and customer requirements.
- Manage the internal audit schedule, conduct audits, and ensure timely completion.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure team compliance at all times.
- Work with QA auditors to investigate complaints and supplier issues, determine, and close non-conformances.
- Undertake product checks and testing, manage micro sampling, product swabbing, and environmental monitoring plans.
- Conduct shelf-life testing and supervise the QA team, supporting their development and coaching to foster a culture of food safety and quality.
- Conduct compliance training and ensure product quality, legality, and safety, adhere to QA budget, and achieve KPIs.
- Enforce company culture, rules, and processes across the team at all times.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of quality supervisory or team leader experience in a food manufacturing environment.
- A relevant degree or equivalent working experience.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal English).
- Experience of facilitating internal auditing processes.
- Good working knowledge of HACCP, Food Safety, GMP, and Quality Management Systems.
