About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Recovery Navigator to join our team at Turning Point. As a Recovery Navigator, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals on their journey to recovery from substance use and mental health issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a key worker to a caseload of service users, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their goals and develop plans to achieve these.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients, offering advice, information, and psycho-social interventions as needed.
  • Provide assessments, risk management planning, and work closely with clinical staff around prescribing needs and partner agencies.
  • Communicate effectively with a range of service users and colleagues, and manage different tasks and priorities.

Requirements:

  • An understanding of substance and alcohol use and the challenges and opportunities for individuals on a recovery journey.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work dynamically on a one-to-one and group basis.
  • Knowledge of relapse and other barriers to recovery, and a commitment to Turning Point values.
