Job Summary:
SIG plc is seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Branch Manager to join our team. As a key member of our branch management team, you will be responsible for managing existing accounts, driving sales growth, and ensuring the smooth operation of our branch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage existing accounts and develop new business opportunities to drive sales growth
- Work closely with the Branch Manager to ensure the branch runs efficiently and effectively
- Take full responsibility for the branch in the manager's absence
- Ensure Health and Safety is at the forefront of all actions and decision-making
- Provide excellent customer service and support to internal and external customers
- Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize sales opportunities
- Work collaboratively with the sales team to achieve sales targets
- Monitor and control stock levels to ensure optimal inventory management
- Contribute to the development and implementation of branch policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a sales and operations role, preferably in the trade and construction industry
- Strong knowledge of products and services available from SIG
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- IT literate and proficient in using sales and inventory management systems
