As we navigate this transformative phase at Companies House, we are seeking Team Leaders for both the Intelligence Triage and Intelligence Support Teams to be integral members of our Intelligence Directorate, contributing significantly to our enhanced intelligence and law enforcement capabilities.

We have two available Band C Team Leader positions—one for the Intelligence Triage Team and another for the Intelligence Support Team. Successful candidates may be appointed to either role.

The support team is a newly established unit that will be responsive and adaptable, with the potential for frequent changes to align with the broader objectives of the Intelligence Hub.

Key Responsibilities

As Team Leaders for Intelligence Triage and Support, you will:

• Assist in the formation, support, and development of teams, overseeing up to 6 Band B employees.
• Ensure the intelligence triage and support teams effectively manage the flow of referrals and adapt to varying workflows and research demands.
• Collaborate with the team manager to cultivate relationships across the organization and educate teams on the significance of intelligence as Companies House evolves.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to Band B staff in processing, evaluating, and researching information.
• Oversee the workflow into and out of the triage and support teams, ensuring precision and timeliness.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for Team Leaders in Intelligence Triage and Support who possess:

• Experience and expertise in information research and assessment.
• Proven track record of managing a team in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to listen and appreciate diverse viewpoints.
• Capacity to proactively build effective working relationships with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders.

Additionally, candidates should have knowledge of:

• The Companies Act
• Relevant processing and policy procedures

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet our nationality criteria and successfully fulfill the security requirements for Security Check (SC) prior to appointment. To obtain SC clearance, candidates must have been UK residents for a minimum of three years.

Compensation and Benefits

In addition to a competitive salary of £27,663, Companies House contributes £8,014 towards membership in the Civil Service Defined Benefit Pension scheme.
