Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our Nuclear and Power business at AtkinsRéalis. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems for our nuclear power projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop mechanical systems for nuclear power projects, including mechanical handling, large-scale diesel equipment, and mechanical and electrical layouts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that mechanical systems meet safety and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement engineering practices and procedures to ensure high-quality and efficient project delivery.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
- Education to Degree, HND/C, or equivalent qualification level in Mechanical Engineering or General Engineering.
- Proven experience in the application of engineering practices within safety-regulated industries.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and their application in nuclear power projects.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
