**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement structural designs for various building projects
  • Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution
  • Analyze data and perform calculations to determine structural integrity and stability
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure project satisfaction

**Requirements**

  • 4 or more GCSEs grades A-C (9-4) and a minimum of 2 A Levels or BTEC equivalent
  • BTEC Subsidiary or Extended Diploma in Construction & the Built Environment or Civil Engineering or an Advanced Level 3 Apprenticeship in Civil Engineering
  • HNC, HND, Higher Apprenticeship or Degree in Construction and the Built Environment, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or related subjects

**Salary and Benefits**

  • Newly trained structural engineers can earn £19,000 - £25,000
  • Trained structural engineers with some experience can earn £25,000 - £45,000
  • Senior, chartered or master structural engineers can earn £45,000 - £55,000
