Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer with experience in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) setting?

Do you possess proven expertise in Electrical or Mechanical engineering?

MacGregor Black is collaborating with a Prominent Manufacturing Organization to find a Maintenance Engineer. This is a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee scheduled maintenance, emergency repairs, and production line transitions
  • Contribute to the achievement of the Engineering department's vision and strategic objectives
  • Ensure production Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) meets site Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Identify and implement opportunities for enhancements within the engineering framework
  • Support adherence to company policies and compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to assist in the planning and execution of all capital engineering initiatives
  • Be a proactive team member who can quickly establish credibility within the peer group

What are we looking for?

  • Experience in FMCG, Heavy Industry, or Marine sectors is preferred
  • Educational background at HNC level or equivalent is advantageous
  • Electrical or Mechanical specialization (both roles are available)
  • Familiarity with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), and Continuous Improvement is desirable

Salary: up to £45K, depending on shift patterns.
