Job Title: Oracle HCM Director

KPMG in the UK is seeking a highly experienced Oracle HCM Director to lead the delivery of high-quality Oracle deployment projects. As a key member of our Powered HR practice, you will be responsible for providing specialist Oracle advice and working closely with clients to optimise processes and maximise the benefits of Oracle.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering Oracle programmes and will possess advanced functional understanding of Oracle product. You will be experienced in HR leading transformation projects, leading workstreams, and managing teams. Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to effectively transfer knowledge and flex the approach according to the situation are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as an Engagement Manager and lead the delivery of high-quality Oracle deployment projects
  • Provide specialist Oracle advice and work closely with clients to optimise processes and maximise the benefits of Oracle
  • Advise clients on the transformational aspects of Oracle in relation to HR operating model, self-service, service delivery, portal, virtual agent, and relevant HR process execution
  • Contribute to business development and sales initiatives, including bid, proposal, and contract/commercial negotiations with Oracle clients
  • Lead the growth of the Powered HR practice through sharing knowledge, developing thought leadership, and supporting the career aspirations of team members
  • Advise on technical integration of the Oracle application with other client and 3rd party applications, such as payroll, benefits, and finance systems
  • Advise on data migration and data integrity as part of the deployment engagement
Requirements
  • Proven experience successfully delivering Oracle programmes
  • Advanced functional understanding of Oracle product
  • Experience in HR leading transformation projects, leading workstreams, and managing teams
  • Demonstrable knowledge of HR processes
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with another HCM cloud product, such as Oracle, Workday, ServiceNow, or SuccessFactors (desirable)
  • Comfortable with agile and waterfall methods of working
  • Excellent documentation, reporting, and presentation skills
  • Well-developed analytical skills and the ability to provide clarity to complex issues and synthesise large amounts of information
  • Experience in a functional and/or technical role in a business or systems delivery environment, preferably in the HR sector
  • Experience producing project deliverables, such as business requirements, functional specs, configuration documents, process flows, use cases, and requirements traceability matrices
  • Ability to effectively transfer knowledge and flex the approach according to the situation
  • Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and experience
  • Proven ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with varying team members
  • Strong functional knowledge of HR, Recruitment (including Onboarding), Payroll, Time Tracking, or Case Management business applications (an advantage)
  • Experience as a configuration expert and/or project manager of enterprise software deployments
Desirable
  • Previous experience of implementing Oracle into public sector organisations
  • Oracle Certifications
  • ServiceNow/Workday Certification

Candidates must be eligible, able to gain, and retain National Security Vetting at the level of Security Check (SC).
