About the Role

We are seeking highly motivated and talented individuals to join our Language Talent Programme, a 11-week paid internship that offers a unique opportunity to develop your language skills and cultural knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment.

As a Language Talent Programme participant, you will work closely with our team to analyse, transcribe, and translate audio and written materials, developing your understanding of language and cultural nuances. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with customers and partners, providing context and insights that will make a real impact on our operations.

Our Language Talent Programme is designed to provide you with a comprehensive training and development package, including classroom-based learning and hands-on training. You will be supported by trained professionals and have the opportunity to apply for a permanent position with us once you have completed the programme.

About You

We welcome applications from individuals who have, or expect to obtain, a 2:2 degree or above in Mandarin. You will either be in the final year of your degree or have graduated in Summer 2021 or later. We are looking for individuals who are adaptable, motivated, and collaborative, with a passion for languages and a willingness to learn new skills.

As a Language Talent Programme participant, you will have the opportunity to develop your language skills and cultural knowledge in a unique and challenging environment. You will work closely with our team to analyse, transcribe, and translate audio and written materials, developing your understanding of language and cultural nuances.

Training and Development

We are committed to developing our staff and providing them with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their roles. As a Language Talent Programme participant, you will receive a comprehensive training and development package, including classroom-based learning and hands-on training.

You will be supported by trained professionals and have the opportunity to apply for a permanent position with us once you have completed the programme. We are committed to helping you develop your language skills and cultural knowledge, and providing you with the tools and resources you need to succeed in your role.

Benefits

As a Language Talent Programme participant, you will receive a starting salary of £6,193 - £6,908, depending on the organisation. You will also have access to a range of benefits, including 5.5 days of annual leave during the internship, and access to a subsidised gym, restaurant, and on-site coffee bars in the Cheltenham office.
