About the Role

Kemp Recruitment is seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Technician to join our client's purpose-built maintenance facility in the Sheffield area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair, including vehicle inspections, general servicing, and pre-planned maintenance.
  • Perform reactive maintenance as required, ensuring vehicles are roadworthy and meet regulatory standards.
  • Prepare and present vehicles for MOT, ensuring all necessary checks are completed.
  • Correct running defects and maintain a high level of vehicle presentation.
Requirements
  • Be a qualified HGV Technician with City & Guilds / NVQ qualifications.
  • Have experience in undertaking all aspects of commercial vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Auto Electrical, Welding, and tail lift maintenance experience is beneficial but not essential.
  • A Commercial vehicle driving licence is a benefit for this role.

Our client offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including overtime paid at 1.5 X – 2 X and a joining bonus of £1,500.
