Job Title: Associate Director of BPO Services

ACT London is seeking an experienced Associate Director to lead our Business Process Optimization (BPO) services team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of clients, including preparing financial statements, VAT and tax returns, consolidated financial statements, management accounts, and regulatory reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and develop a portfolio of clients, including preparing financial statements, VAT and tax returns, consolidated financial statements, management accounts, and regulatory reporting.
  • Develop, mentor, and manage onshore and offshore teams to provide effective and efficient BPO services.
  • Regularly review work for quality and compliance.
  • Lead on developing excellent client service and relationships with clients.
  • Awareness of clients' affairs and opportunities to provide value-added services.
  • Build knowledge and awareness of all aspects of the firm's service to identify opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell services to clients.
  • Respond quickly to and anticipate client requests/needs, keep clients informed of progress, and maintain regular contact with clients.
  • Ensure that the firm's quality control procedures are adhered to.
  • Identify risk and technical matters, exercising judgment within agreed parameters.
  • Provide overall compliance and technical support on client matters.
  • Manage WIP and Billing process.
Requirements:
  • At least 15 years' experience in a BIG4 Accountancy firm with most recent experience in BPO services.
  • Extensive multi-disciplinary management accounting knowledge, corporation tax, FCA, and other regulatory reporting experience.
  • Fluent English and at least one of the major European languages (Italian, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese), preferably Italian.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Onesource Tax, Sage Tax, and IRIS Business Tax.
  • Excellent working knowledge of IRIS, SAGE, SAP, and XERO accounting packages.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project management experience.
  • Refined interpersonal skills, with the ability to form good working relationships with key clients, investors, and other parties.

This is an office-based role, and we are looking for an immediate start.
