Novax Recruitment is seeking a skilled HR Officer to join their team in Taunton. This full-time contract offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing for a great work-life balance.

The Role:

As an HR Officer, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of employee relations matters, including performance reviews, absence, termination, investigations, and recruitment. You will also support senior HR staff and management in conducting employee relations consultations and training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of employee relations matters, including performance reviews, absence, termination, investigations, and recruitment.
  • Support senior HR staff and management in conducting employee relations consultations and training.
  • Provide advice, support, and guidance to managers on a wide range of HR matters.
  • Undertake HR and OD policy and project work as required.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant degree or professional qualification.
  • Proven experience in an Employee Relations operational HR role within a large organization with a diverse workforce.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and recognized best HR practice.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
