We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team in the North West region. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for developing existing territories and increasing market share by selling high-quality Compressed Air & Vacuum equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Promote the business in the North West region by supporting the Sales Manager and other team members in achieving sales and developing the customer base.
- Undertake proposals, including calculating sales prices to achieve sales.
- Support sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets.
- Support sales through site surveys and providing technical advice to both existing and potential customers.
- Ensure an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided.
- Manage and incentivize the distributor network within the geographical area.
- Provide effective sales data, including timely recording of visits and action reports, and analysis of sales performance against budget.
- Proven sales experience selling capital equipment.
- A technical background or qualification, although not essential. If you have a good sales background, positive attitude, and aptitude to learn, we can teach you the rest.
- Experience or knowledge of the compressed air industry ideally.
- A full UK driving license, as this is a field-based job and you will be traveling on a daily basis across your region.
- Excellent IT skills and desire to learn new systems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
