About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Support Officer to join our team at Achieving for Children. As a Business Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Education Welfare Service, working closely with other officers to ensure the timely completion of tasks and the provision of excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to all requests received in the FPN inbox
- Provide administrative support to the Elective Home Education Service
- Liaise and work closely with Education Welfare Officers
- Update service-specific databases and trackers
- Field relevant telephone calls and messages
- Complete statutory returns
- Support with I.T. setup and the creation of resources as required

- Strong organizational abilities, including time management, creative thinking, problem-solving, and multitasking
- Ability to work well under pressure and be flexible in approach
- Strong administrative skills, including minute-taking, managing competing priorities, being organized, and working well in a team
