We are in search of a skilled Assistant Bar Manager to enhance our operations at Soho Farmhouse. The Assistant Bar Manager will oversee the beverage service within the establishment, ensuring its overall success while supporting the management team as necessary. Key responsibilities include maintaining bar stock, providing leadership to the team, including recruitment and development, and ensuring the bar operates efficiently to deliver an exceptional experience for members and guests.

Main Responsibilities...
  • Oversee staff management, including recruitment, training, scheduling, payroll, and addressing staff concerns.
  • Evaluate staff performance, conduct reviews, and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Order inventory based on operational needs and budget considerations.
  • Ensure that menus are current and accurate.
  • Report any shortages in bar stock, including glassware and equipment.
  • Accountable for Mystery Shopper evaluations and staff development initiatives.
  • Actively participate in management team discussions and decision-making processes.
  • Maximize revenue from all sales opportunities.
  • Support the House Tonic program and facilitate related training sessions.
Expected Working Hours for an Assistant Bar Manager:
  • Shifts will vary across all seven days, including evenings, weekends, and opening and closing shifts.
  • Average weekly hours range from 32 to 45.
