About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Architect to join our team in Stevenage or Bristol. As an Electrical Architect, you will play a pivotal role in specifying electrical requirements, defining interfaces, designing power architectures, and ensuring signal safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement electrical requirements for subsystems and equipment.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define interfaces and characteristics between electrical components.
  3. Design and optimize power architectures, including load budgets and profiles.
  4. Ensure data communication and processing architecture meets system needs.
  5. Define requirements for EMC, bonding, grounding, and screening.
  6. Manage signal safety, including routing of safety-related signals.
  7. Collaborate with equipment suppliers and participate in testing activities.
Requirements:
  1. Degree or equivalent qualification in electrical/electronic engineering or a related field.
  2. Previous experience in a similar role.
  3. Willingness to obtain DV clearance.
  4. UK/international travel may be required for supplier and customer visits.
Desirables:
  1. Experience with missile system architecture.
  2. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
  3. Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
