About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Aldi as an Assistant Store Manager, where you will play a key role in helping to run a multi-million pound store. As a leader, you will be responsible for motivating and developing a diverse and talented team to deliver excellent customer service.

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be involved in a variety of tasks, including supporting the Store Manager with day-to-day operations, managing stock levels, and ensuring the store is running efficiently. You will also be responsible for leading and developing your team, including setting goals and objectives, providing feedback and coaching, and identifying training needs.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be an experienced people-manager, with a proven track record of leading teams in a fast-paced, stakeholder/customer-driven environment. You will also need to be skilled in time management and boosting operational efficiency, with a strong focus on achieving targets.

Aldi offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including a 45-hour contract with the option to work 32, 36, or 40 hours per week. Please note that the salary displayed is based on a 45-hour contract, and would be pro-rated for shorter contracts.
