About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Home Manager to join our team at Orders of St. John Care Trust. As a Deputy Home Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Home Manager in the management of the care home, ensuring the highest standards of care and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day management of the care home, including rota planning, employee recruitment, and training.
  • Monitor and manage individual employee performance to ensure standards are upheld.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality of care and service delivery.
  • Work closely with the Home Manager to ensure the care home is running smoothly and efficiently.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Previous management experience in an elderly care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple priorities.
  • A commitment to promoting and developing the highest standards of care.
