Position Overview

An exceptional opportunity is available for a Senior Clinical Coordinator to become part of a dedicated In-Reach and Home Treatment Team.

This service is focused on delivering comprehensive care and support across a broad geographical area.

The role presents a unique chance for a Clinical Leader to leverage their expertise and managerial abilities to enhance service delivery in accordance with operational guidelines while taking a proactive leadership stance to advance the service, ensuring compliance with NICE standards and evidence-based practices.

Candidates must possess qualifications as a Non-Medical Prescriber or demonstrate a willingness to pursue this qualification upon employment.

The team comprises a Service Manager, Clinical Lead, Nurses, Support Workers, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, and a Consultant Psychiatrist.

Strong management oversight and clinical mentorship will be provided to facilitate the successful integration of the selected candidate into this pivotal role.

This position is both demanding and fulfilling.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification.

Desirable:

  • Non-Medical Prescriber qualification or a commitment to achieve this.

Experience/Skills

Essential:

  • Experience working with older adults facing functional illnesses.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including motivation and mentorship.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Clinical Governance principles.
  • Ability to provide Clinical and Managerial Supervision effectively.
  • Knowledge of relevant work-based legislation.

Desirable:

  • Experience in community health settings.

  • Recent experience at Band 6 level or equivalent.
