Join Our Team as a Graduate Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic graduate to join our team as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at a supportive and welcoming secondary school in Hackney, North-East London.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and want to gain experience working in a secondary school environment. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will have the chance to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and inclusive setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support teachers in the classroom, assisting with lesson planning and delivery
  • Work with students aged 11-16, providing individualized support and guidance
  • Help students with special educational needs, promoting inclusivity and accessibility
  • Engage with students for 4-5 periods, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (minimum lower second)
  • Interest in working with children, particularly those with special educational needs
  • Experience working with secondary school children, either as a volunteer or in a previous role
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
