This position operates during night shifts on a 4 on - 4 off schedule, from 6pm to 6am, offering a competitive salary of £46,526 along with a potential bonus of up to 10%, a 5% pension contribution, 23.5 days of annual leave, and sick pay.Joining SUEZ means more than just starting a new job. What will your responsibilities be as a Maintenance Technician?
You will be responsible for delivering both planned and reactive maintenance across all plant areas, ensuring that installations and modifications comply with the latest standards and regulations. Additionally, you will be an integral part of the team, collaborating with colleagues from various departments. You will provide guidance and support to junior staff and contractors alike.What qualifications are necessary?
To excel in this crucial role, you should possess a strong Mechanical background complemented by basic Electrical knowledge, ideally supported by an Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent experience. Experience in a Maintenance Engineer or Technician role within manufacturing or production engineering is essential, with hands-on familiarity with equipment such as conveyors, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Basic electrical troubleshooting skills are highly advantageous. Ideally, you should hold a City & Guilds/NVQ level 3 qualification. An IOSH certification is desirable but not mandatory and can be obtained later.About SUEZ
