Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at SUEZ. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing planned and reactive maintenance across our sites in the Greater Manchester Area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide planned and reactive maintenance, both mechanically and electrically, for all areas of the plant, ensuring that plant installations and modifications meet the latest standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Support colleagues across different functions and various sites across Greater Manchester, working collaboratively to achieve our goals.
  • Investigate and resolve maintenance issues in a timely and efficient manner, using your fault-finding skills and knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance plans and procedures, ensuring that our plant operations are safe, efficient, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other teams, including operations and engineering, to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives and priorities.

Requirements

  • Hands-on mechanical and electrical skills, with experience in maintenance and repair of plant equipment.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve complex maintenance issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Computer literacy, with experience in using maintenance management software and other technical tools.
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures, including permits to work and working at height.
