Job Summary:

AWE is seeking a highly skilled Senior Contract Manager to oversee post contract management for Professional Services contracts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of contracts, frameworks, and agreements that meet the business's requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise on contract management strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for AWE, prioritizing delivery, cost, and quality.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and partners to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement contract management plans, including pre- and post-contract activities, to ensure compliance and optimal results.
  • Utilize industry-leading contract management techniques to mitigate commercial risk and drive value for money.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless contract management and delivery.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in public sector procurement and contract management, with a strong understanding of public procurement regulations.
  • Knowledge of NEC 4 and/or CCS contract terms, with the ability to define and negotiate contract terms.
  • Experience in managing partner contracts, agreeing work orders, and liaising with stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder management, supplier relationship management, and line management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.

Desirable Skills:

  • NEC accreditation or experience.
  • Professional Services background.
  • CCS contract experience.
  • Experience in business governance and public sector governance.
  • Experience in scoping deliverables, contract variation management, and budgetary control.
