Job Details

We're seeking a Home Claims Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our claims handling function, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our goal of delivering excellent customer service and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Hastings Direct goal to become a market leading home claims handling function
  • Set and manage annual and monthly objectives, providing coaching and development plans to support ongoing progression
  • Ensure payments are authorised in line with our departmental SLAs and oversee guidance and advice in respect of technical referrals
  • Conduct regular monthly audits on colleagues
  • Engage and motivate the team, delivering effective meetings
  • Support the overall quality of claims handling internally and by outsourced partners

Requirements

  • Previous leadership experience (claims or home claims beneficial)
  • Strong customer and colleague focus
  • Excellent communication and coaching skills
