This is a fixed-term position for 2 years to meet the needs of the service.
This role is part of the growing Research Delivery team based at the Royal Gwent Hospital, Newport. The team manages complex trials within the Clinical Research Centre and research studies in various specialties across the Health Board.
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in clinical research delivery, although full training will be provided. The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with a strong interest in research and person-centred care.
The Research Officer role is suitable for experienced Clinical Research Practitioners and Registered Allied Health Professionals.
Main Responsibilities- Support patient recruitment for clinical trials
- Assist with clinical procedures within the trial specifications
- Train and assess other staff members
Proficiency in Welsh is desirable for this role; both Welsh and English speakers are welcome to apply.
