Community Occupational Therapist Vacancy

Ackerman Pierce Ltd is seeking a skilled Community Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team. As a Community Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing expert advice and assessments to service users and carers with complex needs.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments of service users and carers to identify their needs and develop personalized plans.
  • Provide expert advice and assessments for equipment and home modifications to enhance the quality of life for service users.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to care.
  • Develop and implement adaptations, moving and handling assessments, and reduce or minimize the need for care packages.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working as an Occupational Therapist in the community.
  • Manual handling experience.
  • Major adaptation experience.
  • HCPC Registration.
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you).
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Occupational Therapist Qualification.
