In this pivotal position, you will contribute to the design and implementation of our OCI security frameworks, ensuring that security is an integral aspect of our clients' cloud solutions.
Assess our clients' current cloud security protocols and practices, providing guidance on industry-leading best practices and recommendations.
Align security controls with compliance standards for cloud environments.
Guarantee that a managed service is delivered to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage security updates for applications, ensuring that vulnerabilities are swiftly identified and resolved.
- Regularly assess and suggest enhancements to improve the security, scalability, and performance of our OCI environment.
- Conduct routine patching of CVE / CPU using the OCI middleware and architecture.
- Address vulnerabilities identified by downstream security tools such as Rapid 7 and Laceworks.
- Evaluate the design and architecture of applications to ensure that security best practices are embedded from the outset, ensuring thorough testing and SIT principles prior to deployment.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Degree in Computing, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent qualifications.
- Familiarity with Cloud Guard.
- Extensive experience with EPM Architecture across both Windows and Linux platforms.
- Background in IT/Cybersecurity is highly desirable.
- Proficient in programming languages, preferably JavaScript and PowerShell.
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively and analytically in a problem-solving context.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture, Windows Server, and Linux.
- Committed to exceeding customer expectations and innovating based on future needs.
