About the Role

So Energy is undergoing an exciting transformation with the introduction of smart metering and cutting-edge technologies. We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Metering Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site support for our installers on the rollout of second-generation smart meters.
  • Analyse reports to resolve issues with our smart meter portfolio.
  • Effectively manage a workload of tickets monitoring the progress of problem resolution on specific customer accounts.
  • Manage relationships with our customer base by answering inbound contacts within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Contribute to a 'one contact resolution' by reducing the need for customer contact through effective management of customer accounts.
  • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organisational standards.
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information.
Requirements
  • Problem-solving skills, identifying issues and finding solutions.
  • Essential experience with smart meters.
  • Flexibility, reliability, and reactivity to customer demand.
  • Understanding and monitoring of agreed SLAs and acting accordingly.
  • Contribution to process improvements by suggesting ideas to Team Leaders.
  • Prioritisation of workload and adaptability to change based on customer and business requirements.
  • Meeting personal and team targets.
  • Handling customer enquiries as they arise via our service channels, ensuring responses within agreed SLAs.
  • Achieving results in areas such as One Contact Resolution, SLA, Productivity, and Quality.
