Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Procurement Manager to join our team at Hunter Philips Executive Search. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading strategic procurement activities for new international projects, including wind farms and battery energy storage systems globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the procurement of key commodities on international wind farm and battery energy storage systems projects, including Electrical and Civil Balance of Plant / EPC Contractors / Electrical and Civil Designers.
- Develop and implement procurement management plans as required.
- Ensure the accuracy of tender documentation and tenders.
- Monitor and communicate with management regarding the EPC market.
- Deliver purchasing budgets for commodities in a timely manner.
- Develop cost-effective strategies for the purchasing of commodities.
- Facilitate the handover of procurement activities to the project execution team.
- Identify, assess, and quantify potential risks and opportunities related to the procurement scope.
- Develop and maintain relationships with EPC suppliers.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement and project management.
- Knowledge of project management methods and techniques.
- Experience in the procurement of EPC/BOP and renewable industry is necessary.
- Onshore BESS or Wind experience is desirable.
