Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Business Partner to join our team at Finning. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and profitability.

Main Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Commercial Business Partners to conduct commercial performance reviews and provide monthly reporting.
  • Work with General Managers to set segment budgets and forecasts, and develop financial solutions to maximize business profitability.
  • Support the achievement of strategic objectives through strong business partnering, robust management information, and best-in-class advisory practices.
  • Provide high-quality financial support and guidance to the business, leveraging a commercial understanding of the market, divisional objectives, growth drivers, and key success criteria.
  • Present monthly results at Segment/Commercial Team meetings, highlighting areas of concern and facilitating resolution.
  • Identify and manage key risks on a project and Segment basis.
  • Act as a catalyst for change and challenge decision-making based on sound financial and commercial reasoning.
  • Liaise with stakeholders in the negotiation, monitoring, and conclusion of key activities.

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Strong engagement, enthusiasm, and a can-do attitude.
  • High standard of interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-focused individual (internal or external).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to disseminate to finance and non-finance employees.
  • Well-organized, with the ability to hit deadlines and handle large amounts of data.

Education and Experience

  • Fully qualified accountant with 3-5 years post-qualification experience.
