Mechanical Project Engineer

Fusion Talent is seeking a skilled Mechanical Project Engineer to join our client's team on a full-time and permanent basis. As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the delivery of major plant expansion and enhancement projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the development and implementation of mechanical project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring seamless project execution.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, and external partners.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Contribute to the development of project proposals, business cases, and project management plans.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Engineer or similar role in the recycling, waste management, environmental services, aggregates, mining, or quarrying sectors.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, including design, installation, and maintenance.
- Excellent project management skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines.
- A competitive salary of £60,000 - £62,000 per annum.
