About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our Adult Learning Disability Clinical Psychology Department. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality psychological input to clients with learning disabilities, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver effective services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide adapted talking therapies, behavioral and systems-based interventions, and bespoke formulation-driven input to clients with learning disabilities.
- Work closely with the Community Learning Disability Team Manager to ensure effective deployment of Clinical Psychology resources.
- Supervise Trainee Clinical Psychologists and be involved in Trainee teaching and supervision of research projects.
- Contribute to the development of the Learning Disability Service, including the formulation of team activity and provision of brief psychological support to colleagues.

Person Specification
Essential
- Good Honours Degree in Psychology
- HCPC Registration as a Clinical Psychologist
- Postgraduate Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996) as accredited by the BPS
- Clinical Supervision training for Doctoral trainees
Desirable
- Advanced Training in research design and methodology
