Role Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Commercial Leader to join our dynamic Commercial team. This role will report directly to the Project Director and will be pivotal in steering the commercial operations of our division.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with senior commercial and technical teams to address challenges comprehensively.
2. Assist the Head of Commercial in guiding and motivating the commercial team to enhance performance and meet business objectives.
3. Aid in the management of the division's commercial operations, ensuring adherence to best practices, cost control, and revenue maximization.
4. Contribute to accurate cost assessments for prospective land acquisitions, ensuring alignment with the estimating team.
5. Oversee the procurement of subcontractor and supplier orders, managing disputes and complex negotiations.
6. Support the preparation of monthly valuations for presentation to senior management.
7. Engage with senior management to establish pricing for new budgets and evaluate service fees.
8. Collaborate on margin improvement initiatives and strategies with the Group Commercial Director.

Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in a senior capacity within the housebuilding sector, ideally as a Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor.
- Strong understanding of valuation and budgeting systems, health and safety regulations, and building codes.
- Qualified as a Quantity Surveyor with a relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
- Possession of a CSCS card or equivalent certification.
- Valid driving license.
- Proven ability to influence and network effectively within the organization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and adaptable to new software systems.
